BISE Faisalabad Matric Result 2026 – Check by Roll Number, Name, SMS & Gazette
The BISE Faisalabad Matric Result 2026 will be announced on 6 August 2026 at 10:00 AM, on the same morning as all nine Punjab boards under the unified PBCC schedule. Over 1.7 lakh students from Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh appeared in this year’s SSC Part 2 exams — and they are sitting on an encouraging piece of history, because last year this board posted the highest pass percentage among Punjab’s major boards.
This page brings together the methods that work on result morning, last year’s verified numbers and toppers, the correct passing criteria for 2026, and the decisions waiting on the other side of the result. The direct link will be added here the moment the board goes live.

How to Check BISE Faisalabad Matric Result 2026
There are three working ways to check the Faisalabad Board matric result: the roll number search on bisefsd.edu.pk, the SMS service on code 800240, and the name-wise search. The website is the obvious first stop — but on the morning when 1.7 lakh families log in together, the obvious stop is also the crowded one, which is why the other two methods matter. Here is each one, step by step.
By Roll Number — bisefsd.edu.pk
Your roll number belongs only to you, which makes this the most accurate route. Keep your slip ready and do this:
- Open the official website bisefsd.edu.pk
- Go to the Results section and choose SSC Part 2, Annual 2026
- Type your roll number exactly as written on your slip
- Submit — your full subject-wise result card shows on screen
Worth knowing before the rush: in the first hour after 10:00 AM the board servers take the entire division’s traffic, and pages will hang or time out. Repeated refreshing does nothing. Wait ten or fifteen minutes — or simply use SMS, which is built for this exact hour.
By SMS — Code 800240
When the website is slow or you have no internet, SMS does the job on any phone, including basic keypad sets:
- Open the message app and start a new message
- Type only your roll number — no extra word or space
- Send it to 800240
- Your result returns as a reply message within a few minutes
Normal SMS charges may apply, and the code is printed on your roll number slip too. If no reply comes in ten minutes, the gateway is congested — pause before resending rather than stacking messages.
By Name — Without the Roll Number Slip
Lost slips surface every result day, and the board’s name-wise search covers it. On bisefsd.edu.pk, open the Results section and choose Result by Name for Matric 2026, then type your full name as registered. Across four districts, shared names are guaranteed — confirm yours through your father’s name, school, or registration number. This search usually activates an hour or two after the main announcement, once the complete database is online.
The Gazette — The Complete Official File
The gazette is the board’s master result document: every candidate, every roll number, every grade in one file, along with school-wise statistics. Schools use it to check whole classes at once. In 2025, Faisalabad’s gazette went up the same day as the result. Download the Matric (SSC) gazette PDF from bisefsd.edu.pk once the result is declared, press Ctrl+F, type your roll number, and land straight on your entry.
BISE Faisalabad Matric Result 2025 — The Best Numbers in Punjab
Here is the headline from last year that Faisalabad’s students should know: 173,239 candidates appeared in the board’s matric exams and 137,948 passed, putting the pass percentage at 79.63% — the strongest figure among Punjab’s major boards, ahead of Gujranwala’s 70.58% and well clear of Lahore’s 65.32%. Nearly four out of five candidates cleared the exam in one attempt.
The 2025 merit list:
| Position | Name | Marks (out of 1200) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | Muhammad Moeez Qamar | 1189 |
| 2nd | Maham Mumtaz | 1187 |
| 3rd | Meerab Warraich | 1186 |
Moeez Qamar’s 1189 did not just top Faisalabad — it earned him the second position in all of Punjab, just four marks behind the provincial topper, and a personal congratulation from the Chief Minister. All three position holders came from private schools, continuing a province-wide pattern, though government schools across Punjab improved their own pass rates sharply the same year.
One more first from 2025 worth recording: Faisalabad became the board to print QR codes on roll number slips to prevent impersonation and paper leaks, deploying more than 11,000 staff across its exam centers. Transparency measures like this are part of why its results carry weight.
Result Date Pattern — Why 6 August
Punjab’s matric result has moved later each year: all nine boards announced on 9 July in 2024, then 24 July in 2025, and the confirmed date for 2026 is 6 August, following later exam schedules. Position holders are revealed a day early — Faisalabad traditionally honors its toppers at a ceremony near Iqbal Stadium — so topper headlines on 5 August are your confirmation that the result lands the next morning.
| Year | Result Date | Faisalabad Pass % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 9 July | — |
| 2025 | 24 July | 79.63% |
| 2026 | 6 August (confirmed) | awaited |
Passing Marks 2026 — 33% Is the Correct Figure
For the matric batch of 2026, the passing requirement is 33% in each subject — not the 40% that many websites are claiming. The difference matters, so here is the actual position.
The IBCC’s new national grading policy does raise passing marks from 33% to 40%, but it is rolling out in phases from 2026, starting with 9th and 11th class students, with full adoption by 2028 — and Punjab’s provincial notification was still pending when the 2026 annual exams approached. The current 10th class batch began matric under the old framework, so their result follows the existing 33% criteria, with theory and practical assessed separately in science subjects. The 40% bar reaches the matric result in 2027, when today’s 9th class batch gets there.
Grading System — Faisalabad Board Matric
| Grade | Percentage | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 80% and above | Exceptional |
| A | 70% – 79% | Excellent |
| B | 60% – 69% | Very Good |
| C | 50% – 59% | Good |
| D | 40% – 49% | Fair |
| E | 33% – 39% | Satisfactory (Pass) |
Total marks for matric (Part 1 + Part 2 combined) are 1200 under the current scheme — last year’s topper left only eleven of them on the table.
About BISE Faisalabad
Established in 1988, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad operates from its head office on Jhang Road and serves four districts: Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh. The region is Pakistan’s textile heartland, and its board reflects the city’s character — large, industrious, and increasingly systems-driven, as the QR-code initiative of 2025 showed.
With around 1.7 lakh matric candidates a year, it ranks among the biggest boards in Punjab by enrollment — and on recent results, the best-performing of the big ones.
Rechecking and Supplementary Exams
If a subject’s marks look wrong, apply for rechecking within 15 days of the result on the official website: open the rechecking section, choose the paper, pay the per-subject fee, and submit before the last date. Rechecking covers totaling errors and unmarked questions — it is not a re-evaluation of your answers.
If you could not clear a subject or two, the supplementary (second annual) exam in October–November is your second chance, with passed subjects carried forward. One honest note from last year’s data: of the 20,977 candidates who took Faisalabad’s 2025 supplementary exam, only about 43% passed — noticeably tougher odds than the annual exam. Treat the supplementary as a real exam needing real preparation, not a formality, and watch the board site for the form dates.
After the Result — The Next Decision
Save your result card the day it appears; admission offices will want it within the week. Then comes the stream decision — Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, or Arts — and in a city with Faisalabad’s college density, options are not the problem; choosing by crowd instead of fit is. Government College University Faisalabad’s affiliated colleges and the city’s private institutions open first-year admissions within days of the result, and merit lists in popular streams close fast. Match the stream to your marks and your genuine interest, and move the same week.

Final Words
Four out of five Faisalabad candidates passed last year — the best odds in any major Punjab board — and the board’s topper stood second in the entire province. Those are the numbers waiting behind the nerves on 6 August. If your result lands well, the admission race starts the same week, so move. If it falls short, the supplementary route is open, but take last year’s lesson seriously and prepare for it properly. Either way, check through official channels only, save your card, and remember that one exam measures a syllabus — not everything you are capable of.
