BISE Sargodha Matric Result 2026 – Check by Roll Number, Name, SMS & Gazette
Sargodha — the City of Eagles — and the three districts beside it have one date on the calendar right now. The BISE Sargodha Matric Result 2026 comes out on 6 August 2026 at 10:00 AM.
That date is fixed for all nine Punjab boards by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons, so Sargodha’s students get their marks at the exact moment Lahore’s and Multan’s do. Last year the same announcement came on 24 July; the year before that, 9 July. The whole schedule has drifted into August now because the exams themselves ran later.

How to Check BISE Sargodha Matric Result 2026
You have three options: roll number on the website, roll number by SMS, or your name if the slip is lost. The website is fastest when it loads. SMS works when it doesn’t. The name search is your backup’s backup. All three below.
Roll Number — bisesargodha.edu.pk
The standard way, and the most accurate one:
- Open bisesargodha.edu.pk
- Find the Results section, pick SSC Part 2, Annual 2026
- Enter your roll number — exactly as the slip shows it
- Check. Your subject-wise marks appear on screen
That’s the whole method. The only complication is timing: at 10:00 AM the entire division opens the same page, and the site slows or freezes for a while. Don’t fight it with the refresh button. Step away for ten minutes, or send the SMS instead.
SMS — Code 800290
No internet needed. Any phone works, even the old keypad set in the drawer:
- New message
- Roll number only — nothing before it, nothing after it
- Send to 800290
- Reply arrives within a few minutes with your marks
Standard SMS charges may apply. The code is printed on your roll number slip too, if you want to double-check it.
Name Search — When the Slip Is Missing
Happens every year. The slip survives nine months of exams and then disappears the week the result comes. On bisesargodha.edu.pk, open the Results section, pick Result by Name for Matric 2026, and type your name exactly as it was registered. Same name as five other students? Use your father’s name and school to find your row. One caveat — this search usually starts working an hour or two after the announcement, not at 10:00 sharp.
The Gazette
One PDF, every candidate in the board. Schools use it to check whole classes; you can use it to settle any doubt about an online entry. Download the Matric (SSC) gazette from bisesargodha.edu.pk after the announcement, open it, hit Ctrl+F, type your roll number. Done. Printed copies show up at the board office within days.
What Happened in 2025 — Govt Schools Took the Podium
Most Punjab boards had the same headline last year: private schools swept the top positions. Sargodha was the exception, and it deserves to be said properly.
| Position | Name | School | Marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Marwa Sohail | Daar-e-Arqam Model Girls School | 1187 |
| 2nd | Siraj Khan | Govt High School, Kammar Mushani | 1186 |
| 3rd (shared by 4) | Asad Javed & Muneeb Arshad (Govt Model HS Bhakkar), Muneeb-ur-Rehman (Sillanwali), Ayesha Muskan (Jhal Chakian) | — | 1184 |
Read that middle row again. Kammar Mushani is a small town in Mianwali, near the Indus — and a government school boy from there finished one mark behind the board topper. Two more government school students from Bhakkar shared third. In a year when eight of Lahore’s top ten came from private schools, Sargodha’s podium split almost evenly between sarkari and private — the most balanced merit list in Punjab. Commissioner Jahanzaib Awan announced the results himself and made a point of it.
If you study in a government school in Khushab or Bhakkar and wonder whether the big marks are reachable from there — 2025 already answered that.
Passing Marks This Year — 33%, Not 40%
Let’s kill the rumor directly: the 2026 matric batch passes at 33% per subject. Not 40%.
The 40% figure is real, but it belongs to a new IBCC grading policy that started with 9th and 11th class students in 2026 and phases in fully by 2028. Punjab hadn’t even issued its provincial notification when this year’s annual exams approached. You began matric under the old framework; your result is prepared under it — 33% per subject, theory and practical counted separately in science subjects. The 40% bar hits the matric result in 2027, with the batch behind you.
Grading Scale
| Grade | Percentage | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 80% and above | Exceptional |
| A | 70% – 79% | Excellent |
| B | 60% – 69% | Very Good |
| C | 50% – 59% | Good |
| D | 40% – 49% | Fair |
| E | 33% – 39% | Satisfactory (Pass) |
Total marks: 1200 across Part 1 and Part 2 combined. Marwa Sohail’s 1187 last year was thirteen short of perfect.
About BISE Sargodha
The board was set up in 1968, making it one of Punjab’s oldest, and its territory is unlike any other board’s: Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, and Bhakkar — from the citrus orchards around Sargodha city to the Thal desert and the banks of the Indus. The PAF base that gives Sargodha its City of Eagles name sits in the middle of it.
It is also one of the most geographically demanding boards to run. Exam centers stretch across desert tehsils and riverine belts where infrastructure is thin — which makes the strength of its government schools, the kind that produced last year’s second position, mean a little more.
Rechecking and the Supplementary Exam
Marks look wrong somewhere? You get 15 days from the result to file a rechecking application on the official website — pick the paper, pay the per-subject fee, submit. Rechecking means they re-count: totals, unmarked questions, clerical slips. Nobody re-grades your answers, so apply where an adding mistake genuinely seems possible.
Failed a subject or two? The supplementary exam in October–November clears it within the same academic year, and your passed subjects stay passed. One number worth carrying into it: of the 13,397 Sargodha students who took last year’s supplementary, just under half passed — and girls (56%) cleared it at a visibly better rate than boys (45%). Translation: it is a real exam. Prepare for it like one, and watch the board site for the form dates the moment the annual result is out.
After the Result
Save the result card the same day — colleges ask for it almost immediately. Then the stream question: Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, or Arts. Govt College Sargodha, the University of Sargodha’s affiliated colleges, and the district colleges of Mianwali, Khushab, and Bhakkar all open first-year admissions within days of the result. Merit closes fast in the science streams. Decide on your marks and your own interest — the friend-circle method of choosing a stream has a poor track record by second year.

Final Words
A boy from Kammar Mushani came within one mark of topping this board last year. Whatever your own screen shows on 6 August, that fact should travel with you — distance from the big city has never decided this board’s merit list, and one morning’s number will not decide yours either. Check through the official site or SMS only, save the card, and take the next step in the same week. Good marks deserve quick admissions. Short marks deserve a real plan for the supplementary. Both deserve your head held up.
