BISE Multan Matric Result 2026 – Check by Roll Number, Name, SMS & Gazette
Last year, the highest matric score in all of Punjab belonged to two students. One was from Lahore. The other was a boy from Dunyapur, a tehsil town in Lodhran, studying under the Multan Board.
That board’s next chapter opens soon. The BISE Multan Matric Result 2026 will be announced on 6 August 2026 at 10:00 AM, on the single date the PBCC has fixed for all nine Punjab boards. Around two and a half lakh students from Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran appeared in this year’s SSC Part 2 exams, making this the largest board in South Punjab and second only to Lahore in the whole province.
On this page you will find the three working methods to check your result, the gazette, the correct passing marks for 2026, last year’s remarkable merit list, and the new rules the board has introduced this year. The direct result link will be added here the moment it goes live.

How to Check BISE Multan Matric Result 2026
Three methods cover every situation on result day: the roll number search on bisemultan.edu.pk, the SMS service on 800293, and the name search for anyone whose roll number slip has disappeared. The website wins when traffic is normal. At 10:00 AM on result morning, traffic is anything but normal, and that is when the other two earn their place.
Roll Number on bisemultan.edu.pk
The standard route, and the most accurate one since your roll number belongs to nobody else:
- Open bisemultan.edu.pk
- Go to the Results section and select SSC Part 2, Annual 2026
- Type your roll number exactly as your slip shows it
- Check. Your complete subject-wise marks card opens on screen
A quarter million candidates plus their families will be hitting this page in the first hour. The site will slow down or freeze at times. Pressing refresh again and again achieves nothing. Step away for ten minutes, or send the SMS.
SMS to Code 800293
The reliable option when the website is stuck or there is no internet in the house. Any phone works:
- Start a new message
- Type your roll number only, no extra word or space
- Send it to 800293
- Your marks come back as a reply within a few minutes
Normal SMS charges may apply, and the code is printed on your roll number slip as well. No reply in ten minutes means the system is overloaded, so give it a short gap before trying again.
Name Search Without the Slip
The slip vanishes for thousands of students every year, and the board has a route for them too. On bisemultan.edu.pk, open the Results section, choose Result by Name for Matric 2026, and type your name as it was registered. With lakhs of candidates across four districts, repeated names are certain, so use your father’s name and school to confirm your row. This search usually becomes active an hour or two after the main announcement.
The Gazette
The gazette is the board’s full official record, every candidate and every grade in one PDF. Schools use it to verify entire classes at once, and the Multan Board uploads it in its dedicated gazette section. After the result is declared, download the Matric (SSC) file from bisemultan.edu.pk, press Ctrl+F, and type your roll number to land directly on your entry.
What 2025 Showed: The Dunyapur Story
The Multan Board’s 2025 merit list deserves to be told properly.
| Position | Name | Institution | Marks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Haroon Hamid | National HSS, Dunyapur | 1193 |
| 2nd | Husna Ina Fatima | Al-Kareem Public Girls HSS, Dunyapur | 1188 |
| 3rd (shared by 4) | Hafsa Ashiba Fatima (Multan), Asbah Fatima & Meerab Fatima (Vehari), Khadija (Multan) | various | 1187 |
Haroon Hamid’s 1193 out of 1200 was not just the Multan Board’s best. It tied the highest matric score in all of Punjab, level with Lahore’s topper, and earned him a congratulation from the Chief Minister. And the second position went to a girl from the same small town. Dunyapur, a tehsil of Lodhran that most people outside South Punjab could not place on a map, produced the province’s joint topper and the board’s runner-up in the same year.
Five of the six position holders were girls. Two came from Vehari, one from a government school in Multan. Across this board, the merit list keeps proving that the address on the school gate decides nothing.
New Rules Students Should Know This Year
The Multan Board has notified several changes recently that matter to current and incoming students. Biometric verification and live picture capture are now part of online admission registration for the SSC 2026-28 session, an anti-impersonation step. Under a PBCC decision, the candidate’s CNIC, CRC, or B-Form number will now be printed on Secondary School Certificates, tightening document verification. The marks improvement policy for SSC and HSSC has also been amended under the same committee’s decisions, so students planning to improve their grades should read the latest rules on the board site before applying.
Small changes on paper, but together they point in one direction: results and certificates from this board are getting harder to fake and easier to verify.
Passing Marks 2026, the Correct Figure
The straight answer: the 2026 matric batch passes at 33 percent per subject, not the 40 percent that many websites are repeating.
The 40 percent requirement comes from a new IBCC national grading policy, but that policy is phasing in. It began with 9th and 11th class students in 2026 and reaches full implementation by 2028, and Punjab had not even issued its provincial notification when this year’s annual exams approached. The current 10th class batch started matric under the old framework, so its result is prepared under the existing 33 percent rule, with theory and practical counted separately in science subjects. The 40 percent bar arrives at the matric result in 2027, with the batch behind you.
Grading Scale
| Grade | Percentage | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 80% and above | Exceptional |
| A | 70% to 79% | Excellent |
| B | 60% to 69% | Very Good |
| C | 50% to 59% | Good |
| D | 40% to 49% | Fair |
| E | 33% to 39% | Satisfactory (Pass) |
Total marks are 1200 across Part 1 and Part 2 combined. Haroon Hamid finished seven short of all of them.
About BISE Multan
Established in 1968, BISE Multan is one of Punjab’s oldest boards, and for decades it administered most of South Punjab before the Bahawalpur, DG Khan, and Sahiwal boards were carved out of its territory. Today its jurisdiction covers Multan, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran, with around two and a half lakh matric candidates each year, the largest enrollment in the province after Lahore.
The board runs from the City of Saints, and its chairperson’s public commitment is transparency: free of malpractice examinations, real marking, and error-free results. The biometric and CNIC printing reforms this year are that commitment turning into procedure.
Rechecking and Supplementary Exams
A mark that looks wrong is not automatically final. You have 15 days from the result to file a rechecking application through the board website. Choose the paper, pay the per-subject fee, and submit before the deadline. Rechecking re-counts your paper: totals, unmarked questions, clerical errors. It does not re-grade your answers, so apply where a genuine counting mistake seems possible. The Multan Board runs its rechecking applications through its online student section, which keeps the process trackable.
Failed one or two subjects? The supplementary exam in October or November clears them within the same academic year, with your passed subjects carried forward. The forms open on the board site within weeks of the annual result, and missing that window costs a full year, so set the reminder now.
After the Result
Save the result card the same day. Then comes the stream decision, and Multan gives you more options than most of South Punjab: Emerson University, Government College Bosan Road, Nishtar’s feeder colleges for the medical-minded, and the district colleges of Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran all open first-year admissions within days of the result. Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, or Arts: pick where your marks and your own interest meet. The stream chosen on a friend’s advice is the one most often regretted by second year.

Final Words
Dunyapur was just a name on the Lodhran map until last July, when one of its sons matched the best score in Punjab and one of its daughters stood right behind him. That is what this board’s results are capable of, and that is the company your own result keeps. On 6 August, check your marks through the official site or SMS, save the card, and move the same week, toward admissions if the number is strong, toward a serious supplementary plan if it is not. The exam measured one year. The next move measures you.
