BISE DG Khan Matric Result 2026 – Check by Roll Number, Name, SMS & Gazette
Here is a fact most of Punjab does not know. Last year, the highest matric pass percentage in the entire province did not come from Lahore, Faisalabad, or Rawalpindi. It came from DG Khan: 81.35 percent.
The students of that same board are now waiting for their own morning. The BISE DG Khan Matric Result 2026 will be announced on 6 August 2026 at 10:00 AM, on the single date fixed for all nine Punjab boards by the PBCC. Candidates from Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur will all see their SSC Part 2 marks at the same moment.
This page keeps the whole result day in one place: the three checking methods, the gazette, the correct passing marks for 2026 (the figure circulating online is wrong), last year’s toppers, and the week that comes after.

How to Check BISE DG Khan Matric Result 2026
Three ways work on result day: your roll number on the official website, your roll number by SMS to 800295, and your name if the slip has gone missing. The website is the first choice, SMS is the rescue when servers jam at 10 AM, and the name search covers the lost-slip situation. Each one below.
Roll Number on bisedgkhan.edu.pk
The most accurate method, since the roll number is yours alone:
- Open bisedgkhan.edu.pk
- Go to the Results section and select SSC Part 2, Annual 2026
- Type your roll number exactly as printed on the slip
- Check. Your full subject-wise marks card opens on screen
One thing to expect: in the first hour after 10:00 AM, four districts open this page together and the site crawls. Refreshing it twenty times will not help. Wait a bit, or move to SMS, which exists for exactly this hour.
SMS to Code 800295
Internet down, website stuck, or only a keypad phone in hand? SMS handles all three:
- Start a new message
- Type your roll number only, with no extra word or space
- Send it to 800295
- Your marks come back in a reply within a few minutes
Normal SMS charges may apply. The code is also printed on your roll number slip. If the reply takes longer than ten minutes, the system is overloaded, so give it a gap before sending again.
Name Search Without the Slip
Lost roll number slips are a result day tradition across every board. On bisedgkhan.edu.pk, open the Results section, choose Result by Name for Matric 2026, and enter your name as it was registered. If several students share it, your father’s name and school will point to the right row. This search usually starts working an hour or two after the main announcement, once the full database is uploaded.
The Gazette, Every Result in One File
The gazette is the board’s complete official record: each candidate, each roll number, each grade, in a single PDF. Schools use it to verify entire classes at once. After the result is declared, download the Matric (SSC) gazette from bisedgkhan.edu.pk, open it, press Ctrl+F, and type your roll number to jump straight to your line. Printed copies reach the board office within days.
What 2025 Showed About This Board
The numbers first. 91,180 students appeared in DG Khan’s matric exams last year, and the board posted a pass percentage of 81.35 percent. No other Punjab board matched it. Faisalabad, the best of the big boards, finished at 79.63. Lahore stood at 65.32.
Now the merit list:
| Position | Name | Marks (out of 1200) |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | Hania Mahmood (Layyah) | 1187 |
| 2nd | Insha Ahmed | 1186 |
| 3rd (shared by 4) | Nauman Waris, Zirish Fatima, Zainab Shoukat, Laiba Raza | 1184 |
The topper came from Layyah, a district better known for its wheat than its headlines. Three of the six position holders were girls. Board Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry announced the results personally, and the 81.35 figure traveled across Punjab’s education circles for weeks.
There is a lesson sitting in plain sight here. This board covers some of the least developed terrain in Punjab, from the Suleman range to the riverine belts of Rajanpur, and its students still produced the best pass rate in the province. Whatever the screen shows you on 6 August, the ceiling in this region is set by effort, not geography.
Passing Marks 2026, the Real Figure
Clear answer first: the 2026 matric batch passes at 33 percent per subject. The 40 percent claim spreading online does not apply to you.
The 40 percent rule comes from a new IBCC national grading policy, but that policy is rolling out in phases. It started with 9th and 11th class students in 2026 and completes by 2028. Punjab had not even issued its provincial notification when this year’s annual exams approached. You started matric under the old framework, so your result is prepared under it: 33 percent in each subject, with theory and practical counted separately in science papers. The 40 percent bar reaches the matric result in 2027, with the batch junior to you.
Grading Scale
| Grade | Percentage | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 80% and above | Exceptional |
| A | 70% to 79% | Excellent |
| B | 60% to 69% | Very Good |
| C | 50% to 59% | Good |
| D | 40% to 49% | Fair |
| E | 33% to 39% | Satisfactory (Pass) |
Total marks are 1200 across Part 1 and Part 2 combined. Last year’s topper reached 1187 of them.
About BISE DG Khan
Established in 1989, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Dera Ghazi Khan serves the south-western corner of Punjab: DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur, which after recent administrative changes also takes in the newer districts of Kot Addu and Taunsa carved from within them.
It is the hardest board in Punjab to administer by geography. Exam centers sit in tribal tehsils along the Suleman range, in flood-prone belts beside the Indus, and in desert stretches of Layyah. Around 90,000 candidates sit its matric exams each year. Against that backdrop, the 2025 result was not just a good number. It was a statement.
Rechecking and Supplementary Exams
If a mark looks wrong, you have 15 days from the result to apply for rechecking on the official website. Select the paper, pay the per-subject fee, and submit before the deadline. Understand what rechecking covers: totals, unmarked questions, and clerical errors. It is not a re-grading of your answers, so apply where a counting mistake genuinely seems likely.
If one or two subjects did not clear, the supplementary exam in October or November gives you a second attempt within the same academic year. Your passed subjects carry forward, so only the missed ones are retaken. The forms open on the board site within weeks of the annual result. Set a reminder, because missing that window means waiting a full year.
After the Result
Save the result card the same day. College admission desks in DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, and Rajanpur ask for it within the week, and Ghazi University’s affiliated colleges open first-year admissions quickly after the result. Then comes the stream decision: Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, Commerce, or Arts. Each leads somewhere different. Choose by your marks and your own interest, because the stream picked on a friend’s advice is the one most often regretted by second year.

Final Words
Remember the number this board carries into result day: 81.35. The best pass rate in Punjab came from its most remote corner, and the topper came from Layyah, not from any big city. So when 6 August arrives, check your marks through the official site or SMS, save the card, and read your result against that backdrop. A strong score here means admissions move fast, so move with them. A short score means the supplementary route is open and well traveled. Either way, the students of this region have already proven where determination can reach from here.
